Three Ways to Unearth a Story
We will be meeting the entire month of July
Come the days you can
It won't just be reading, but also exploring, crafting, and having time outdoors.
#1 - Story Hour and Crafting (3yr to entering 2nd grade)
Wednesdays 10 - 11:30 am; we will enjoy a few songs, stories, and then crafting and exploring in the Discovery Park. Dino Yoga for little ones might just be included!
#2 - Read Along and Crafting (3rd grade to 6th grade)
Thursdays 4 - 5:30 pm; A read along with Mary the Librarian. Our first book will be The Magic Misfits with a second book possible if there is enough time left in the summer. Each week I'll read a chapter or two and the kids get to read along; no pressure for anyone to read by themselves. Then, "crafting in the wild" and maybe excavating dinosaur eggs, making fairy wings, wind catchers, and other stuff from outdoor treasures excavated in the Discovery Park or your own backyard.
#3 - Teen Time at the Library
Friday 5 - 7; Time to just hang out, play games, build a puzzle or just have social time with friends and enjoy some pizza.
If it's reading you want, then I've also picked out some titles you might like. I've picked several titles and will have them all available to choose from.
Junior Titles:
This Appearing House
Garlic and the Vampire
Young Adult Titles:
