Where are you located?

We are located in Goshen, a small town in southwest New Hampshire. The library is next door to the Town Hall and across the street from the Fire Station. Our address is 36 Mill Village Road North, Goshen, NH, 03752. For mailing purposes: use our PO Box #57.


What are your hours?

The library is open Tuesdays through Fridays and every 1st and 3rd Saturday. 

 

Tuesday: 8 am - 5 pm

Wednesday: 8 am - 1 pm

Thursday + Friday: 3 - 8 pm

Saturday: 10 am - 1 pm

Can I use your library if I don't live in Goshen?

Yes! For the most part, anyone regardless of their residency are welcome to come use the library. You can come to work/read/play, attend events, and explore our Discovery Trail. The only thing non-Goshen residents cannot do are sign up for a library card- and therefore check in or out items. 


What does the library have to offer?

  • Over 6,000 items including books, dvds, audio books, and periodicals
  • Access to Overdrive aka Libby where you can access thousands of audio and e-books online for free
  • Free wifi
    • Network: OGP Guest
    • Password: OGP Guest (don't forget the space!)
  • Computers and laptops for the public to use
  • Access to Ancestry Library Edition and Heritage Quest Online
  • Fun, educational, and community building events
  • Adult Book Club meets every 1st Thursday at 6:30 pm
  • Children's Storytime is held at least once a month and usually from 11 am to 12 pm on Saturdays
  • Copying, printing, and scanning (with a suggested donation fee)
  • Ordering items our patrons need from other libraries in the state via ILL (inter-library loan)
  • A courtyard behind the library for visitors to sit, read, work, socialize, and play
  • Crafternoons every other Tuesday from 2-4 pm
    • Crafternoon is a drop-in event where we invite any knitters, crocheters, artists, etc to come use the library space and connect with one another
  • Special programs such as: local author talks, visiting naturalists from Squam Lake Science Center, game nights, art and crafts activities, and a number of seasonal/holiday events

The OGPL Book Club is currently reading Unlikely Animals by Annie Hartnett. This book was chosen for Halloween/Mystery Month.
